An improvisational performance piece focused on displaying the physical altercation of pushing and pulling away from a friendship that has run its course. Both parties have an animosity for one another whether from inner problems or resentment, but both of them can’t seem to pull apart. Heavily inspired by the eventual loss of a 14 year friendship, the piece is structured on improvisational movement with physically aggressive textures that are reimagined for the space it may be presented in. This work was first performed for The Happening with Ariaza Ariaza in 2023.
